When technology changes the way we live, organizations have to keep up to stay relevant. Mogiv existed to help nonprofit organizations make donating as easy as possible for their supporters. What started as a one-client application had the potential to serve multiple entities which meant it was time to market itself for the first time.
Mogiv was born out of a fundamental need felt by nonprofit organizations – the need to fundraise. The founders of Mogiv were entrepreneurs who had the nearly impossible dual task of running a nonprofit and fundraising at the same time. And, with the ever-changing landscape of technology, they realized that fundraising couldn’t just be done through handshakes and checks. Organizations needed a way to receive and track donations online and through mobile devices to stay relevant. So, they invented an online and mobile-based giving platform that any nonprofit or church could use for free. The technology was solid. The brand just needed a little help.
Mogiv had never really marketed itself. Instead, the small company relied on word-of-mouth referrals and hung its hat on one big customer. They decided it was time to grow the business. Rachel K Group was asked to provide consulting, project management, and content creation services.
