Helping San Diego Nonprofits Do More Good

Mission Edge exists to “help nonprofits and small businesses maximize their social impact.” Their mission is to help the nonprofit community thrive through strategic planning and robust service offerings. Unfortunately, their website was confusing and outdated, and in need of a major facelift.

The Origin Story

When Mission Edge started expanding its services beyond just outsourced financial management for nonprofits, they needed to tell their story in a more effective way online. The CMO called on Rachel K Group to help with the strategy and execution of a new website.

The Work

Rachel K Group was brought in to provide a complete website overhaul. We started from scratch and worked closely with the Mission Edge team to make sure their site reflected who they are today and the incredible services they offer.

Our website discovery process helped shape how Mission Edge wanted to present itself to the world. Through our content strategy, we crafted an entirely new site map and helped define the content for every page. This included a new, streamlined intake process completed with the design and programming of a new client interest form. We then edited every word from staff bios to service overviews, and finally sourced photos to help tell their story. Of course, we did all the techy stuff too – from setting up new hosting to the actual design and programming of the site.

The Results

Today, Mission Edge is an integral part of the San Diego social enterprise community.  They run a successful incubator for social enterprises and help organizations increase their impact.
